"It's A Nice Day For A White Wedding" -White Wedding by Billy Idol

Wedding season is in the building, and it's feeling itself! Good lawd, sooo many of my friends tied the knot this year. Soooo many invites, such little time. JK, SEan and I attended each one of them. They were all equally magical in their own right, and Sean and I were so honored to be part of each their special days. On that note, one particular wedding was black tie ONLY (see all of the fabulousity in my personal photos below - You're welcome), and you know my bougie-booty loves to get dolled up to the nines so I was equally excited to find theeeee dress to impress for such the occasion. I'm a shorty, so finding a floor length gown is always an issue for my 5 foot 1 frame. The petite section (which is incredibly hit-or-miss) or a very good seamstress (who has got time for allla that?) are my usual go-to's. In this case, I was lucky enough to find a gorgeous black dress by Tadashi Shoji that also came in petite sizing, woop woop! No seamstress downtime, and the perfect fit? COME-UP!! This dress was made for me. It included gorgeous lace detailing, stretchy bandage fabric to hug my curves just right, and my favy mermaid silhouette to show off the figure my mama gave me. I was also obsessed with the skin revealing peek-a-boo panels that added a glamorous hint of sexyness without being too overexposed at an upscale event. I kept my accessories minimal yet glam with some bling on my ears, wrist, and finger, simple black suede Celine heels, and kept my gloss in my classic chanel clutch. Though I barely needed to wear my coat due to the beautiful weather, my lil fur bolero came in handy during the brisk nightfall in San Francisco. So blessed to be amongst so many of our loved ones uniting with their significant other, and creating a legacy of their own. Congratulations to all our wonderful friend's, may your love grow even stronger over time, and last an eternity! #AndTheyLivedHappilyEverAfter
