CRÈME DE LÀ CRÈME

“You can't treat me like you treat them
Yes, I am the crème de la crème
Yes I am from one to ten, ten”
–Nikki Minaj verse on “No Love (Remix)” by August Alsina

Forget about being saucy, it's all about being creamy!!! Hmmmm, I apologetically retract that statement, as it doesn't sound too appropriate now that I've said it out loud lol. Monochromatic colors always look so clean and chic. As the season begins to transition from Winter to Spring I've been delving into the softer side of clothing combination options. The ivory Missguided Khloe Waterfall Coat has been everything and more this Winter (if you could only see me raising that roof right now)!! It's such a wonderful piece to add to your collection as there have been countless ways to wear it casually or dressed up. I love a versatile piece like this, so easy, and so worth the spenditure. The amazing thing about this classic cut coat is that it also came in Camel & Gray colors as well. Had I not already purchased the infamous (and expensive) camel coat, I would've purchased it in this exact style and saved a ton while I was at it (the coat cost me a whopping $68 lol) - insert side eye to picking a struggle. I was vehemently searching for a silky sexy ivory blouse and low and behold, H&M carried a budget-worthy version that looks top dollar! Highs and lows are dear to my heart, so you know I had to throw in my pricey designer skirt, heels and purse to balance everything out. My necklace however, was not so pricey, though a designer brand which is always a plus! As Miss Minaj mentioned, I'm def feelin' like a 10 struttin' in this ensemble, straight up Creme De La Creme....just add lady rapper/vocal poet to my resume while we're at it ;-)
