Middle-Eastern Painting - Morocco
"A people without the knowledge of their past history, origin and culture is like a tree without roots" - Marcus Garvey.

I really adore my culture, and a huge fan of most anything street art, so the combination of the two is gratifying af. I've always been in awe of colorful graffiti and in-depth murals on the walls of building's I have come across while living in San Francisco. I wanted to showcase my love for various Middle-Eastern street art from all around the world, as it is quite similar to the street art we are used to seeing here in the U.S. The mixture of Arab calligraphy and Western graffiti to produce unique styles, which often demonstrate some sort of profound mainstream social or political message, just makes me feel some "type of way" and hopefully you will too....in the utmost appropriate "type of way" of course ;-)
