What's Trending In Tehran

As you all know I am of Iranian descent, and tremendously proud to be part of the earliest empire in the world, abundant in an affluent and exotic culture.

Extravagance is an understatement when it comes to my stylish Persians. Prior to the fashion-rule-stricken regime of 1979, monarchs set the trends of upscale statement-making attire, rich in exuberant textiles and fabrics.

I recently stumbled upon a website showcasing that, though, women's fashion may have been hidden behind mandatory manteaux's and head scarves these past decades, clearly, the urge to express creativity never died. The new street fashions of Iran's capital, Tehran, prove that a "passion for fashion" truly does exist in the blood.
